I have to say there is something about this leaf that sums up so much about photography for me.  The basic form and interplay of light provide the perfect medium for B&W photography and also the challenge of making the most banal of objects look beautiful.  I think the hidden, and often not so hidden, beauty of objects is what attracts me to photography, the desire to capture or maybe just bring to others’ attention the beauty that surrounds us all the time.

Well all of that aside here’s my latest attempt…
