This is a great photo opertunity as so many people make an effort to dress up in very authentic clothing and the location is perfect for the event.

I had the opertunity to photograph a couple of very talented friends doing Poi.

Another go in a slightly better location, in terms of light pollution levels.

I’ve been meaning to try and photograph the Milky Way for ages and it happened to be a clear, moonless night so I gave it a go. Although this was quite a photogenic location the light pollution levels were far too high.
